A Donation is missing from the draft file, why?
- Is the donation set up as a recurring pledge? Under Fundraising > Donor Spotlight, search for the donor’s record. In their Pledge History look at the details of the pledge. Is the pledge set up as “recurring” or “one time”?
- Was the next bill date in your through date range? For both credit card and bank draft a through date is chosen and the draft will only pull donations who have a next bill date in that through date range. To see what the next bill date is set as go to Fundraising > Donor Spotlight and pull up the donor’s record. Look at the pledge details in Pledge History to see the next due date.
- Does the donor have draft information updated on their record? Search for the donor’s record under Fundraising > Donor Spotlight. Click on the wallet icon on the left side of the screen and check to make sure they have e-pay information set up for fund raising.
- Has the pledge balance already been invoiced? For recurring pledge you do not need to invoice the balance before the draft. The draft process takes care of that for you. To see if the balance has already been invoiced, go to Welcome Center > Smart Cart > Outstanding Balances to see if the pledge balance is there. If it is, you will need to write it off so that the system knows to invoice and draft the pledge.
