How to give Ad Hoc access to a staff member

Last Updated: Aug 24, 2015 12:58PM CDT
Access to the Ad Hoc Reporting tool is considered a more sensitive right and therefore requires that the system administrator give the right through Administration>Customizations>User Authorization tab.

You will see two levels of Ad Hoc access that can be given to your staff members:

Administrator Access - this right gives the user access to ad hoc reporting and gives them the ability to run reports, modify existing reports, and create new reports.

End User Access - this right gives the user access to run reports in ad hoc reporting, but not to modify existing reports or create new reports.

Once you have decided which level of access the individual will have, you should select their role from the Role box on the far left. If they do not already have the right, you will see their username appear in the "Available to be Linked" box. Click on their username and then use the grey arrow to move their name from the Available to be Linked box to the Currently Linked box. Then click Update at the bottom of the screen, You and the user will need to log out of Trinexum and then log back in for the changes to become effective.
